Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, October 5, 2015: Republic Bank Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Nigel Mark Baptiste, as Managing Director Designate of Republic Bank Limited, and President and Chief Executive Officer Designate of Republic Financial Holdings Limited. He currently holds the position as the Bank’s Deputy Managing Director.

Republic Bank, a partner in the 2015 HERO CPL T20 Cricket, enjoyed the status of being the Official Bank of the 2015 T20 Cricket, and the benefits were shared.

Twenty successful Deal on Wheels Auto Loan customers and ten members of the Bank’s Retail Lending team were awarded tickets to the matches, while another section of the Bank’s customers and Senior Officials enjoyed the games from the Bank’s VIP Booth.

At the end of an exciting Guyana leg, the victorious Amazon received the winning Republic Bank cheque from Managing Director, Richard Sammy.

Over a period of six (6) days starting July 27, 2015 the EMPRETEC Guyana Centre in collaboration with Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited. brought together a total of 26 female entrepreneurs who were previous graduates of the Venture Out! for Women Programme to participate in its hallmark Entrepreneurship Training Workshop (ETW).
