If you are under 19 years of age then you can be a RightStarter. RightStart gives you all the flexibility of a banking account, including an ATM Card, PLUS some really cool RightStart Club benefits!

 

What is RightStart?

RightStart is an account specially designed for persons 19 years and under. The account’s interest is calculated on a minimum monthly balance of $1,000.00 and over and paid on the last day of each month.

What you will need

Before visiting our branches, ensure you have the following documents:

New to Republic Bank accompanied by parent/ legal guardian

One (1) form of Identification for parent/legal guardian - valid Passport or Identification Card
Proof of Address for parent/legal guardian – Driver’s Licence, or Utility Bill (Light, Water or Telephone issued within the last 8 months)
Birth Certificate for minor
Valid passport or Identification Card (if any) for minor over 13 years
Proof of Income for parent/legal guardian – Job Letter/Payslip or Income & Expenditure Statement if self-employed
TIN Certificate for parent/legal guardian - (also required for foreign nationals working in Guyana)
Guardianship document (legal guardian/adoption)
The required amount to open the account (GY$1,000)
