New Year ‘First Born’ Babies Welcomed With Republic RightStart Baby Care Hampers

The 'first born' babies in Georgetown, Essequibo, Linden, Berbice and Lethem were welcomed in the New Year with special Republic RightStart Baby Care Hampers valued approximately $40,000 each.

Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited started this annual initiative in 2009 in keeping with its Mission and Core Value of Customer Focus. This initiative seeks to provide support and encourage recipients to prepare for a good future through sound financial planning. The New Year 'first born' babies of 2014 are also being afforded a 'RightStart' with the presentation of RightStart Gift Certificates valued $20,000 each, to be used to establish an account for the newborns.
