On April 27, 2010, the Apprentices interacted with the children of the Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre and the elderly at the Palms Geriatric Institution as part of their Youth Link Care-A-Van, the programme’s community outreach initiative. In preparation for this exercise, a session on “Disability Awareness” was conducted to afford the Apprentices the opportunity to become familiar with this social issue.
