Twenty-eight Apprentices were assigned across the Republic Bank’s Branch Network from October 28, 2016 to May 25, 2017 where they were trained and coached for the work environment, allowing them to develop both professionally and personally.
A simple Ceremony was held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Herdmanston Lodge, Queenstown, Georgetown to welcome the ninth batch of apprentices to the Bank’s Youth Link Apprenticeship Programme 2016/2017.
Upon completion of the eighth Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited Youth Link Apprenticeship Programme, thirty-one young men and women have emerged ready and equipped to face the world of work.
Thirty-two Apprentices were welcomed into the fold of the Republic Bank family at the launch of the Bank’s seventh Youth Link Apprenticeship Programme on Monday, November 03, 2014 at the Georgetown Club, Camp Street, Georgetown. The programme commenced at 15:30h with a prayer, followed by speeches and cocktails.
“Youth Link Apprentices, today I am both pleased and proud of who you have become and more so, at your collective response to the programme. Your general conduct during the programme bears strong testimony to your commitment to excellence, and this assured the success of the programme”.
