On November 09, 2016 eighteen specially selected Commercial customers of Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited graduated at a special Closing Ceremony at the Head Office, 155-156 New Market Street, North Cummingsburg, Georgetown.
This programme forms part of the Bank’s annual initiatives targeted towards Small and Medium Enterprises and is done in collaboration with the University of West Indies, Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.
This initiative which first began in September 2010 was designed to give participants the opportunity to hone their business management skills in areas such as Financial Management, Marketing and Customer Relationship Management, Strategic Management and Leadership and Networking. This year brings the total number of participants in Guyana over the years, to one hundred and thirteen entrepreneurs.
Sessions were held over six days at Republic Bank’s Head Office during the period October 05 to November 09, 2016.
The General Manager-Credit in her address to the participants urged all to strive for excellence in all that they do as they continue to utilize the new skills acquired during the programme.
The seminar’s facilitators included Dr. Balraj Kistow, Ms. Natasha Subero and Mr. Kirt St. Bernard, all faculties of the University of West Indies, Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.
The Closing Ceremony was held on November 09, 2016 where the 18 participants received certificates.
