The third phase of the Republic Bank Power to Make a Difference Initiative for the next four years was launched at a special ceremony on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 16:00h at the Savannah Suite, Pegasus Hotel, Kingston, Georgetown.
This initiative which commenced in Guyana in 2003 focuses on making a difference particularly among Guyana’s youth and in communities through various projects undertaken in partnership with government ministries, charitable and educational institutions. In the previous two phases, over $200 million was expended on a range of projects.
Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited has committed over $150 million for this new phase and the recipients of the Bank’s support for 2014 -2018 are:
