Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited honoured seven of its RightStart account holders for their outstanding performances at the National Grade Six Assessment 2017. This year Antonia Dey, Tristan Persaud, Tia Chung, Naomi Barkoye, Ameera Majeed, Bianca Trotz and Arshia Singh were honoured at a special ceremony held during the formal school assembly at Queen’s College on Friday, October 20, 2017.
During the ceremony, the awardees were each presented with a RightStart Gift Certificate and a special gift.
Ms. Diane Yhun, Credit Manager, Corporate & Commercial Credit, Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited who delivered the feature address, congratulated the awardees for their outstanding academic performance while also acknowledging the support and guidance offered by their parents who were also in attendance. In addition to congratulating the awardees, Ms. Yhun advised them to always strive to maintain the hard work and dedication which yielded such exceptional results and to also seek opportunities outside of academics to participate in extracurricular activities which help to build character and lead to well-rounded individuals.
