Republic Bank Commercial Customer Business Programme 2015

Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited embraces the business needs of its Commercial Customers through the Commercial Customer Business Programme.

Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited’s collaboration with the University of West Indies, Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business saw the completion of the sixth annual Republic Bank Commercial Customer Business Programme on November 04, 2015, with a Closing Ceremony at the Head Office, 155-156 New Market Street, North Cummingsburg, Georgetown.

The programme which first started in September 2010 was designed to prepare participants for successful planning, organization, and operation of small to medium sized businesses in various sectors within the economy. To date, inclusive of 2015, ninety five (95) entrepreneurs of Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited have benefited from the Commercial Customer Business Programme.

Through this venture, Republic Bank seeks to create a vibrant network of business professionals equipped with the tools to enhance their businesses and improve productivity.

To this end, the specially selected customers benefited from training aimed at improving their ability to assess and understand the business environment, effectively drive business strategy, financial management tips and techniques, and marketing in the face of new challenges.

The programme was held over five days at Republic Bank’s Head Office during the period October 07 to November 04, 2015.

The seminar’s facilitators included Dr. Balraj Kistow and Ms. Natasha Subero, both faculty of the University of West Indies, Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.

The Closing Ceremony was held on November 04, 2015 where the 12 participants received certificates.
