Republic Bank B Division Volleyball Tournament 2025 concludes with an exciting finale

Republic Bank is proud to celebrate the remarkable growth of volleyball across Guyana in 2025, demonstrated through the successful support of the nationwide B Division Volleyball Championships.

In partnership with the Ministry of Culture Youth And Sport and the Guyana Volleyball Federation (GVF), the championship brought together approximately 1,000 players representing nine administrative regions. The tournament highlighted the increasing national interest in the sport, with a particularly encouraging rise in the number of active women’s teams participating at a competitive level.

Republic Bank’s support of the championship reflects its ongoing commitment to youth development and national empowerment through sport. As part of the Bank’s Power to Make a Difference initiative, continued investment in sporting programmes creates opportunities for young people to develop discipline, teamwork, leadership, and a strong sense of community.
