Michael Bhopaul and Ramesh Ghir the Top Performers at the 2012 National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) along with Sarah Hakh and Kelly Ann Persaud, the Top Achievers for the 2012 Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) respectively, were the guests of honour at the Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony. The special presentation ceremony was held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Bank's Head Office, New Market Street, Georgetown where monetary gifts and plaques were presented to the awardees.

has maintained its focus on the development of youth in Guyana and has continued its tradition of rewarding the academic achievement of the country's top performers for the annual national examinations.
