Nine children of employees of Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited, were honoured for their performance at this year’s National Grade Six Assessment at a special ceremony held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Bank’s Head Office, Promenade Court. Each awardee received a RightStart Gift Certificate.
Recognising and rewarding academic achievement and encouraging development among youths are integral aspects of Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited’s social investments and this activity is a wonderful opportunity to reward the Bank’s extended family.
In the feature address Mrs. Joann Williams, Assistant Manager-Human Resources commended the parents and all awardees. She urged the awardees to remain focused on their educational goals, to give their best in everything they do. She also encouraged them to participate in extracurricular activities along with their academics as this will help their development in becoming well rounded and socially skilled individuals.
Those honoured were Devanjali Ramkellawan, Aretha Fraser, Shania Azeez, Elesa Sangster, Josiah Jaipersaud, Daniel King, Reshoun Trotman, Christol Daniels, and Meshach Browne.
